Thermomix Naan Bread

Thermomix recipe 100% made in Italy for naan bread
Thermomix Naan Bread

On this very hot day in July, here is a recipe to prepare naan bread that is cooked in a pan.

For those unfamiliar, naan bread is a typical Indian soft and flat bread, the yogurt in the dough makes it very elastic.

It is seasoned with a layer of ghee (clarified butter) and fresh parsley, but since I didn’t have clarified butter, I opted for extra virgin olive oil.

Originally, naan bread is cooked in clay ovens called tandoor, alternatively, you can use a cast iron skillet or a non-stick one.

It is usually served to accompany dishes such as curry or dahl of lentils, but being cooked in a pan, I find it an incredible ally during the summer.

I leave you with the recipe for the Thermomix naan bread.

See you for the next recipe!

Recipe Notes

If you do not intend to eat naan bread immediately, just close it while still warm in an airtight container, it will serve to maintain the right humidity and softness.

*For those who are intolerant to dairy products, it is possible to replace yogurt with lactose-free yogurt.
