Thermomix oatmeal bars
Ingredients
- 110 gr rolled oat
- 40 gr puffed rice
- 50 gr walnuts
- 100 gr almonds
- 140 gr barley malt (or honey)
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp sunflowers oil
Instructions
Put the dried fruit (almonds and walnuts) in the bowl, chop coarsely: 5 sec. speed. 4, set aside in a bowl, combining the oat flakes and puffed rice.
In the clean bowl, place the maple syrup and malt (or honey), cook: 3 min. 100° speed 1.
Add the syrup obtained to the mix of dried fruit and flakes and mix well with the help of the spatula, until all the syrup is absorbed.
Brush a sheet of parchment paper with a tablespoon of seed oil, pour over the oat and honey mixture, trying to level it out.
Brush another sheet of parchment paper with oil and place it on top of the mixture. Using a rolling pin, flatten the mixture until it reaches a thickness of about 1 cm.
Remove the sheet of parchment paper on top and arrange the edges with a knife and bake in a preheated oven at 140°C for about 30 minutes.
Let it cool for 5 minutes and cut with an oiled knife to form bars. Allow to cool completely before serving… Buon appetito!
Recipe Notes
If you prefer, you can vary it by decreasing the amount of almonds and adding hazelnuts. It is possible to add sesame or flax seeds and/or chocolate chips.
