Today we have a new recipe and this time it is a liquorice liqueur of Calabrian origin.
In my mother’s village in the province of Catanzaro, where we often spend summer holidays, at the end of the meal we are usually offered liquorice liqueur also called “Black Soul”.
And this recipe is one of those that I particularly like, so much so that it is almost never missing in my fridge, so I can offer it to any of my
guests. We loved it so much and you just have to try it.

Thermomix Liquorice liqueur
- 200 gr alcohol
- 600 gr water
- 600 gr sugar
- 70 gr liquorice pure
Put the liquorice and sugar, chop: 20 sec. speed Turbo.
Add water and cook: 10 min. 100°C speed 1.
Allow to cool completely and add the alcohol, mix: 20 sec. speed 4.
Pour into the bottle. To be kept in the fridge or freezer… Enjoy your meal!
