Let’s start right away, I found this delicious recipe in one of the cookbooks I have at home and after it struck me and inspired me I tried it for lunch, and the result was satisfactory, both the family and my partner appreciated it.

It is one of those recipes that tastes like Sunday and reminds me of my paternal grandmother, who is still around, but she used to make gnocchi or fresh pasta on Sunday mornings. I’ll make it again soon, promised.

Thermomix Gnocchi with vegetable sauce

  • 100 gr peas
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 piece celery
  • 1 onion
  • 400 gr peeled tomatoes in small pieces
  • 1 bunch fresh basil
  • 30 gr extra virgin olive oil
  • fine salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 800 gr potatoes gnocchi *


  1. Put the onion in the bowl, chop: 5 sec. speed 7.

  2. Gather on the bottom with the help of a spatula and add the oil, fry: 3 min. 100° speed 1.

  3. Add the carrots, bell pepper and celery cut into small pieces together with peas, cook: 5 min. 100° Reverse speed.

  4. Add the peeled vegetables and continue cooking: 15 min 100° Reverse speed. Soft.

  5. If the sauce is too liquid, continue cooking for a few minutes at Varoma temperature.

  6. Cook the gnocchi in plenty of salted water, drain them and season them with the vegetable sauce, basil leaves and Parmesan cheese… Buon appetito!
